The Mercury Bay Club Inc. was opened in 1976 The club is a member of Clubs New Zealand which was established in 1912 with the object of promoting friendship, entertainment and sporting facilities for members. The Mercury Bay Club continues to operate under this concept. The Clubs motto is friendship and fellowship

The Mercury Bay Club is a family friendly club, encouraging families to socialize in a safe and friendly environment. The bar area is the hub of the club’s activities and entertainment centre. The club caters for sports enthusiast with a large screen TV , TAB pod and gaming room.
The club offers memberships for those 18 years and over. On becoming a member one has reciprocal visiting rights to many other chartered clubs though out Australasia and welcome guests from all over the world.
