THE HISTORY OF MERCURY BAY CLUB

Times of dedication and extraordinary team work brought about the Mercury Bay Club as it is today.

The first meeting of the Mercury Bay Club was held in 1973 July 31st . Those eligible to vote were all financial members of the previously formed MB Provisional Club and the MB Social Club, who were to constitute the foundations membership of the MB Club.

The MB RSA members were all invited to become foundation members. In order to preserve the relationship between the MB Club and the MB RSA in 1975 a resolution was passed at an Extraordinary General Meeting that the Mercury Bay RSA be acknowledged in helping.
